Spring Garden Notes #3 — When Spring Finds Its Confidence
Share
Spring feels different now.
The early softness is still there, but something brighter has taken hold. The daffodils stand open to the sun—golden, unapologetic—while the ruffled blooms nearby glow in warm shades of cream and apricot.
There’s a quiet confidence in them.
They don’t hesitate the way the first buds do. They don’t test the air. They simply arrive, fully formed, as if they’ve been waiting for exactly this moment.
I didn’t notice when the shift happened. One day I was looking for signs of life, and now the garden is offering it freely.
It makes me think about how growth isn’t always obvious while it’s happening. Sometimes it feels slow, uncertain. And then suddenly, without announcement, everything is in bloom.
The garden doesn’t question whether it’s ready.
It just becomes.
