Spring Garden Notes #1 — The First Blooms

Spring Garden Notes #1 — The First Blooms

There’s something divine about the first real blooms of spring.

After weeks of watching branches that seemed lifeless, the magnolia finally opened—soft white petals brushed with pink, delicate but certain. A single magnolia bloom opens like a soft whisper against the sky. It doesn’t ask for attention, yet it quietly transforms the entire space around it.

These early blooms feel like a promise. A reminder that even when nothing seems to be happening, something is always preparing beneath the surface.

I think that’s why I love gardening so much. It teaches patience in the gentlest way.

Nothing can be rushed. And yet, nothing is ever truly still.

This is just the beginning.

Yours truly, Lerika
